When you use Caddy4U, you may provide:
Caddy4U supports two sign-in methods:
Google Sign-In: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and Google profile photo. We do not receive your Google password. Google's own privacy policy governs how Google handles your information: policies.google.com/privacy
Email and password: If you create an account with your email address and password, your email is stored in Firebase Authentication. Your password is never stored in plain text — it is securely hashed by Firebase. We do not have access to your password.
We use your information to:
Your data is stored using Google Firebase, a secure cloud infrastructure operated by Google. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Firebase is compliant with industry-standard security certifications including SOC 2 and ISO 27001. Your entries are associated with your account and are not accessible to other users.
Caddy4U uses artificial intelligence to process your voice and text entries in order to organize and categorize entries automatically, generate summaries and weekly digests, answer recall queries and general knowledge questions, and set and manage reminders.
We never use your personal entries to train AI models. Your data is processed to serve you — not to improve AI systems for other users or third parties.
When you explicitly ask Caddy to find a website or URL, Caddy4U may perform a web search using your query. The search query is sent to a web search service to retrieve results. We do not store your search queries beyond the current session, and search results are returned to you and optionally saved to your entry if you choose.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your personal entries with third parties except in the following limited circumstances:
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal entries and associated data will be deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
You have the right to access your data, correct inaccurate information, delete your account and all associated data, export your data in a portable format, and opt out of non-essential communications. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@caddy4u.ai.
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete your personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
Caddy4U is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it promptly. Contact us at support@caddy4u.ai if you have concerns.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, including encryption in transit and at rest, secure authentication, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. If changes are material, we will notify you by email or through the app.
