Getting started

What is Caddy4U?
Caddy4U is your personal AI memory assistant. Just like a great caddy carries your bag and remembers the course, Caddy4U carries everything that matters — appointments, memories, reminders, to-do lists, contacts, and more. You speak or type naturally, and Caddy captures, organizes, and recalls it for you. No buttons. No folders. No setup.
Do I need to download an app?
No. Caddy4U works entirely in your browser on iPhone, Android, or any computer. No App Store, no installation required. Just open caddy4u.ai and you're ready.
How do I sign in?
Two options — use whichever you prefer:

Sign in with Google — tap "Sign in with Google" and use your existing Google account. No new password needed.

Sign in with email — tap "Create account" and enter any email address plus a password. Works with Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, or any other email service.
I signed in — now what?
You'll see a simple conversation interface. Just start talking to Caddy. A good first entry: "My name is [your name] and I live in [your city]." Caddy will remember this and use it to personalize future responses.

Telling Caddy things

Caddy understands natural, conversational language. Speak or type — no special commands needed. Here are examples of everything Caddy can capture:

Remind me to-do — say "Remind me to-do: pick up the dry cleaning and stop at the pharmacy before noon Saturday" and Caddy creates both a reminder AND a to-do list in one step.

Attach photos & files — open any card and choose Add files or photos to attach receipts, warranty cards, or pictures. They're stored securely with that entry.

Point Caddy at a specific card

Every card shows a number (like #261). Just say or type that number and Caddy acts on that exact card — no need to open it or scroll to find it. Works by voice, too: tap the mic and say it out loud.

Made a mistake? Deleted the wrong card? Just say "undo" and it comes right back, exactly as it was.

Asking Caddy things

Caddy can recall anything you've told it — and answer general knowledge questions beyond your own entries.

Caddy answers general questions too — not just your own entries. Ask about medication interactions, home maintenance timelines, health benchmarks, and more. Caddy connects general knowledge to your personal history when relevant.

Reminders

How do I set a reminder?
Just tell Caddy naturally — it parses the date, time, and repeat interval automatically:

"Remind me to call the pharmacy tomorrow."
"Remind me every 30 days to give Ginger her heartworm pill."
"Don't let me forget — the refrigerator warranty expires May 2029."
How do I know when a reminder is due?
A 📅 badge appears in the app header when you open Caddy4U. Tap it to see what's due, then choose Snooze 7 days or Dismiss.

Note: Caddy4U does not send push notifications at this time — reminders appear when you open the app.
What's "Remind me to-do"?
A special trigger that creates both a reminder AND a to-do list from a single entry. Say "Remind me to-do: pick up dry cleaning, stop at the pharmacy, and return the library books — all before noon Saturday" and Caddy sets the reminder and builds the list in one step.

Sharing cards

Can I share a card with someone else?
Yes. Select one or more cards in your Vault and choose Share. Caddy4U generates a link anyone can open to view those cards — no Caddy4U account needed on their end.
Can I see or cancel a link I've shared?
Yes. Open the Shares panel on your Home screen to see every active share you've created, copy the link again, or revoke it at any time.

Custom instructions

Can I teach Caddy standing rules?
Yes. Open the Instructions panel on your Home screen and add rules in the form "When I do X, do Y." For example: "When I log a fuel-up, calculate my MPG from the odometer reading." Every enabled rule applies automatically to every conversation from then on.
Can I turn a rule off without deleting it?
Yes — each instruction has its own on/off toggle, plus edit and delete. Keep your active rule count reasonably small for best results; Caddy will let you know if you're stacking up a lot at once.

Beta access

What do I get as a beta tester?
Everything, free. Unlimited entries, general knowledge answers, reminders, sharing, custom instructions — every feature in Caddy4U is fully unlocked for beta testers at no cost. No credit card, no tiers, no limits.
Will Caddy4U cost money later?
We haven't finalized future pricing. As a beta tester you'll always be looked after — we'll let you know well before anything changes.

Troubleshooting & support

The app seems slow or isn't loading.
Try a hard refresh: on iPhone, close and reopen the browser. On desktop, press Cmd+Shift+R (Mac) or Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows). If problems persist, email support@caddy4u.ai.
Caddy misunderstood what I said.
Just correct it — "That's not quite right — it should say..." and Caddy will update the entry. You can also edit entries manually. If Caddy keeps misunderstanding a particular type of request, let us know at support@caddy4u.ai — it helps us improve.
How do I delete my account?
Email support@caddy4u.ai and we'll delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.
